"A fresh, invigorating scent with a creative soul: deep and woody with a hint of sparkle."
Focused around the warm, dry woody notes of aromatic Virginia Cedar, this is a sporty, creative perfume that is very easy to wear. Himalaya Cedar displays delicately dry, warm wood aroma while bright Red Australian Buddha Wood gives earthy, leathery and deep notes to the perfume. See if you can pick out the individual notes from the perfume’s bright, cheerful core: citrusy, zesty Bergamot (think Earl Grey tea), fresh herbal Lavender and the spicy, almost pine-like Ginger Root. Juniper Berry gives Accord No.04: Cedar a touch of bright sparkle over the top notes.
Olfactory family: Wood. Since Antiquity, wood has been a popular scented material. Peoples used to burn wood shavings and resin during religious rituals. In the Middle East, cedar is a venerated tree, whose sacred wood would have been used to build the hanging gardens of Babylon. As the name suggests woody fragrances are distinctive by their opulent woody character with notes coming from woods materials like trees, resin, moss, bark, pine cones and bushes but also roots. Wood ingredients add richness, warmth, elegance and a depth to a fragrance and are key in perfume making.

Cedar is the aromatic wood of a species of juniper native to eastern North America. The sapwood of this majestic tree is distilled into a fresh, green scented absolute with earthy, woody, masculine, leathery and deep aromas in the background – a scent that will remind you of pencils.
Our Virginia Cedar absolute is extracted from off-cuts, sawdust and shavings that would otherwise be considered waste, gathered from sawmills in the United States.
